Every May from the 1st to the 5th, we take the opportunity to reemphasize hazard mitigation and fall prevention, especially from soaring and elevated heights, during the Safety Stand-Down construction campaign.

Who Participates in This Week-Long Safety Stand-Down?
According to OSHA: “Commercial construction companies of all sizes, residential construction contractors, sub- and independent contractors, highway construction companies, general industry employers, the U.S. Military, other government participants, unions, employer’s trade associations, institutes, employee interest organizations, and safety equipment manufacturers” participate in the Safety Stand-Down.
From ladders to scaffolding to lift machinery, Right Choice is focused on safeguarding our people.
The mission is to:
1.) PLAN ahead to get the job done safely when working from heights.
2.) PROVIDE the right equipment to protect workers — ladders, scaffolds, and safety gear.
3.) TRAIN everyone to use the equipment safely with proper set-up, recognition of hazards, and safe use of equipment on the job.
